Towe Street
A clean, architectural frontage designed to match a contemporary home. Great Spaces delivered a simple, high-impact entrance with seamless access and strong street presence.

Brief
A young professional couple wanted to elevate the entrance to their newly built designer home. The brief was to create a dramatic yet simple arrival experience, with remote-controlled gates for ease of access. The design needed to feel contemporary, low-maintenance, and aligned with the home’s architecture, while still delivering strong street appeal.
Design
The design focused on simplicity, structure, and architectural alignment:
- Seamless entry: Remote-controlled sliding gates allow direct access from car to garage.
- Architectural paving: Floating concrete slabs create a clean, modern pathway that complements the home’s design language.
- Layered ground planes: A mix of turf and gravel at varied levels adds depth while maintaining simplicity.
- Natural detailing: Hardwood edging defines zones and introduces warmth against the harder materials.
- Minimal rear yard: A raised lawn and simple planting palette extend the clean design to the back garden.

Construction
The frontage was carefully set out to achieve clean lines and precise alignment with the home’s architecture. Structural elements for the sliding gate were installed to ensure smooth operation and long-term durability.
Concrete slabs were formed and positioned to create a floating effect, while layered sections of turf and gravel were constructed with hardwood edging to define each zone.
To the rear, a simple raised lawn and planting scheme were installed to complete the property with minimal upkeep required.
The result is a refined, functional entrance that enhances the home’s architecture while delivering everyday convenience and lasting street appeal.
