Something different for the Great Spaces team – a wine cellar in a void under the owner’s house. Works included stacked stone retaining walls, concrete flooring, safety railings, cupboards, and sliding barn door entry. The hero was a 1000 bottle wine rack made from steel reinforcing. We also left the natural sandstone bedrock exposed to create a rustic natural feature. Built-in cupboards and a sliding barn door completed the space.
