The owners of this overgrown back garden wanted to create a dining area with pergola and pleasant surroundings to entertain. We built a streamlined concrete seat with integrated strip lighting next to a fire pit. We brought in giant basalt steppers and crushed rock to create a stylish and permeable ground cover. Then we finished it with rustic metal edging, clever accent lights and rich green planting, which will eventually screen out the outside world.
